We collaborated with DTS to design DTS Play-Fi technology into our Fidelio and premium ranges of soundbars and wireless speakers and subwoofers. This enables our consumers to build their home audio ecosystem and stream music room to room through different Philips audio devices – sound bars, wireless speakers, TVs. They now have the choice of deciding the configuration to best suit their needs and budget, and to scale-up at any point in time.
Multi-Room Audio
Our Play-Fi enabled Philips Soundbars and TVs are able to
wirelessly connect to our Play-Fi enabled Philips Wireless
Speakers. Now, our consumers can choose to play music in every room individually for personal enjoyment; or sync together for music enjoyment around the entire home.
Multi-channel Audio
Besides multi-room Audio, we have expanded the feature now to easily add two Play-Fi enabled Philips Wireless Speakers and quickly configure them as Surround Left and Right. We have also developed a new range of Play-Fi enabled Wireless Subwoofers. This enables our consumers to easily expand the number of
surround and Atmos channels.
When movie night's done, just tap to remove the multi-channel
configuration and put them back to return to the great Play-Fi
multiroom experience. Easy!
Easy-to-use Philips Sound App
With the easy-to-use Philips Sound mobile app, our consumers can select songs and playlists from their music library and play through supported music services like Pandora®, TIDAL, SIRIUS XM, and various Internet radio stations.
